The view, the nature surrounding the house

Sometimes hard to get a hold of the staff Not always easy to understand how things work

The location was serene and had a nice view of the Penang Town. Plus it was convenient to go to the Penang Hill top station using the stopping Funicular Service. On top of that, being vegetarians we managed to get good food at the property run Kitchen. Also had the pleasure to meet the host, amazing person to say the least. :) Highly Recommended for a relaxing stay.

Scenery, location and staff are good.

The blanket is full of sweat and odor. Quite disgusting.

The host is very friendly, the house is comfortable, the view is awesome, very peaceful and enjoyable with my family and friends.

I love the view (can see from the photo gallery), that was why I picked this place. It was my first trip to Hickory, it was good for family gathering as the space for sittings are more than sufficient.

The Pillow and mattress has room for improvement.

The location is superb. Friendly owner and great environment and scenery. You can get free flow tea and coffee at the self-service bar table with plenty of choices. Good place for friends and families.

Interesting decor (books, art, photos), inviting sitting areas, beautiful gardens, close to trails, friendly atmosphere, refrigerator & complimentary beverages, delicious meals. Absolutely delightful place to stay!

Can't think of anything I did not like, except mosquitos.

Have a good view of Georgetown. Staff offer helps to pre-purchase tram tickets.

Not easily accessible from Upper Station.
