Tegal Besung Cottage

Our host Nyoman was fantastic. He helped us with taxis, activities and even drove us round to locations during our stay. Very nice, trustworthy and genuine person. Couldn’t fault this stay at all - very clean and had everything you could need and located near some amazing local restaurants.

Die Lage ist nicht sehr hervorragend, ohne Roller oder Auto kommt man nicht weit.

Really Nice bungalow, host is super helpful and Nice Few restaurant around (walking distance) but you need a scooter a taxi if you want to do the main attractions on the island

Structure is nice, quality for price very high. Owner is super kind.

Only thing is the communication is not easy with the owner. We had a misunderstanding about the taxi. Not a problem at all.

Overall I think it’s a good place to stay if you want to move around the island for a couple of days. I arrived early around 9am, but I able to leave my luggage there till the room was ready.

When I arrived the person who takes care of the place was just talking continuously for 15-20 minutes trying to sell me tours and snorkeling at an overpriced amount, complaining that the guests are not taking tours from him and make them by their own. Unfortunately the WiFi was not good for my working, luckily I was able to hotspot from my phone.

The owner already the first day sold us a too expansive taxi. The second day he wanted to sell us an all-inclusive snorkling tour but anded up in ordering us his friend as the taxi driver picking us up and bringing us to the harbor. There both of them explained us we need to pay the taxi extra (again way to expansive) and also to pay again to get back to the accomodation. Just like this our all-inklusive snorkling tour was suddenly double the price we first agreed on. The owner than explained us, in euros this is not a lot of money for us and we shouldn't complain ... not recommended!

Great location big and comfortable rooms very clean and the host is so nice he will help you with everything and make you feel at home. Can't wait to come back.
