Oyado Uemasa

The property was very clean, warm, had free WiFi, and was close to a shuttle that went straight to the slopes. The owners were wonderful, gracious, and kind. They were helpful with lift tickets, rental equipment, and showing me where the good restaurants were. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone traveling to Nozawaonsen.

Fabulous location clove to centre of Nozawa as well as bus shuttles, Onsen, coffee shops etc. Very clean ammenities.

La piccolissima vasca Onsen disponibile per ciascuna camera su prenotazione. La colazione stile giapponese. Di certo non ci si abbuffa ma è curioso provare il loro modo di iniziare la giornata

I tre piani di scale per arrivare in camera , la struttura un po’ vecchia e trasandata , l assenza di parcheggio vicino alla struttura (abbiamo pagato una cifra di parking privato) e il prezzo colazione non incluso (attenzione quella stile giapponese costa di più )

Japanese style bed was a bit too hard for me, but i guess you can get use to it quickly.

Adoramos o casal que cuida do hotel. Eles sao muito especiais. Alem de nos receber com vários mimos, nos ajudaram com os passes de esqui e nos deram muitas dicas. O ofurô no banheiro coletivo também é muito legal.

É preciso estar ciente de que você pode precisar subir até 4 andares para o seu quarto. E o chuveiro fica no térreo.

We especially loved our hosts, Cousin and Now, who went out of their way to make us welcome. My husband left his helmet, goggles and gloves on the shuttle bus and when we arrived back Cousin immediately contacted the company and then went and collected them for us. They left little treats in our room to have with tea each day.

The hosts are so lovely and helpful. You really feel like you’re staying with family. The facilities are clean, the location is central and you are given all of the information you need for a good stay.

It’s like staying in your distant relatives’ house, the couple running Uemasa will welcome you with warmth and kindness. The accommodation conveniently located near the Shinden bus stop from Iiyama station and also the ski resort shuttle bus. Also v close to shinden local bath. You can take the shampoo basket the owner has ready for you. The futon mattress on tatami mat can be hard for those not used to it but the positives far outweighs the negatives.
