Mu Cang Chai Big View Homestay - Rice Terrace & Mountain View

Everything! The view was spectacular. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and my sleep was amazing.

It got slightly cold during the night but they do have a fireplace to warm up next to.

Very simple, but clean and with good vibe. Any inconveniences are compensated by with stunning views!! The host is great - very helpful.

To sum it up, the night after we left Khang and his family, we sat at dinner and both agreed, that we miss them and their amazing accommodation. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest, Khang and his family are super welcoming and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The view is just amazing and the food is really good and freshly cooked. They did the booking of our paragliding experience and our bus back to Hanoi. We had a small excident with the bike and Khang came with us to the hospital to help translate. We thank Khang for this unique experience, which we will remember forever.

There was nothing that we disliked but to have the same amazing experience that we had, you need to be open to nature (the accommodation is in the middle of rice fields which means that you have bugs etc.) and the sleeping room is quite open, meaning that you hear the noise of the other guests.

I loved staying at the Big View Homestay, Khan (sorry if i spelled it wrong) and his family were extremely friendly and helpful in every way. The view from the homestay is amazing and the perfect location to go trekking through the rice terraces! There was breakfast and dinner available every day and it was very good, being a vegeterian wasn't a problem at all! The owner was always up for a chat and even helped me when my bus was cancelled and helped me getting my refund! I really enjoyed my stay there, I can highly recommend it, thank you so much for this great time at your homestay! :)

The rooms are very basic, don't expect a bed, there are only matresses on the floor, my back hurt a little after three nights there, but besides that everything was fine :)

The homestay is very nice and quiet. You have a very nice view. It's a really very quiet and peaceful place. The owners are very nice and will help you wherever they can. We did a motorbike tour with them, which we can recommend. If you are not traveling by motorbike, you are dependent on eating at the homestay. The breakfast and dinner was always delicious. We enjoyed our stay. We would only slightly adjust the prices for the rooms as the rooms are very basic. Thank you for everyrhing!

We went during the summer, so it could get abit warm around here, as there is no air condition, but on a windy day, everything Is great! The dinner from the host was fantastic. The host was very helpful regarding everything.

Tough road to get there. The mosquito nets inside could be better, there were holes in it, and was tough to fit it onto two mattresses. But I'm sure if you ask the host earlier to get a better mosquito net, the experience would be much better!
