Mu Cang Chai Big View Homestay - Rice Terrace & Mountain View

Friendly, respectful & helpful family (helped to fix for free some things on my motorbike, gave advices on routes and stops), clean and fresh water included. Was dry season so not really green but the view is amazing. Small path up which is also fun to ride.

Came off season but still worth the trip. Loved our time trekking around seeing the area. The host was gracious and welcoming and food was amazing.

Great views and out of the way location.

Big view means big hill to get there and there's no taxis in the region. You need your own transport to make this work, otherwise its a struggle. I'm an older man with a crook leg, and i was stuck on top of the hill. I changed down from 4 to 3 nights but was refused a refund on the one night.

Waking up with a stunning view over the rice fields, this place is definitely a recommendation. The host is very friendly, good communication and is eager to help.

Do not expect a fancy bedroom. Good value for money.

The food was excellent and more than I could eat. A wonderfully cozy fire heated up the dining area. And beer was icy cold.

Nothing. It was a wonderful experience, and the view was exceptional. Inspirational.

The location is crazy beautiful, you stay in the middle of nowhere, 300m high on the mountain. I loved the owner and his family, food was good and great breakfast every morning.

Unlucky I've been there during the winter time and they are not so ready for the cold weather.
