The Banana House

I had an amazing stay at this guesthouse. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, helping me rent a scooter at a great price and arranging taxi transportation from the port upon arrival and back to the port upon departure. The accommodation was spotless, with a spacious room equipped with fully functional air conditioning. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and hot water. The area was very peaceful, and the beautifully landscaped courtyard, filled with lush vegetation, added to the charm. Super good wifi, suitable for remote work (>25Mbps). The price was unbelievably good, offering fantastic value for money. There are several restaurants nearby, and the seafront area with additional restaurants and cafes is just a 10-minute scooter ride away. Highly recommended!

Nice homestay. Clean, comfortable room with AC. The owner makes you breakfast for a cheap price—a fair price for what it offers.

We had a great and comfortable stay at Banana House. Novi, the host, was welcoming and helped us rent a scooter and book a snorkeling experience. It is in a quite area away from the main street. You have a restaurant 1 minute away from the house.

The water pump makes a noise everytime you use it and you can hear it at night as well. :(

Very clean and nice hotel with nice breakfast! The lady (I am sorry I didn't get her name) was very very helpful with information and booking boat tickets. We hired a scooter at the harbour to get around and there was also a nice cafe nearby. For the price would 100% recommend.

Everything was great

Novi was such a great host and helped us from the moment we arrived. They were quick to arrange scooters and taxi when required. The place was clean and located in a peaceful area. It is close to the (3-4km) from the port and there are a lot of good restaurants close by (quick ride from the stay). It is worth noting that Nusa Penida is quite a big island so places of attraction generally tend to be a bit far apart. Overall, I'd highly recommend this stay and it is well worth its price.

The AC cooling could've been better.
