Beautiful setting in lovely town

The location was excellent and with free parking. The house is full of character and has been renovated to a trendy standard. Loved the free OJ and treats on the landing. The room had toiletries for you to use too. Oh and getting 10% discount at the Croft for breakfast was a little perk.

We appreciated the parking. It was nice to have orange juice and milk available…although one morning there was none left even at a rather early hour. It was peaceful behind the wall from all the hubbub of the town.

When we arrived we could not figure how to get into the building….an email was apparently sent that morning, however, we were already in transit and never saw it. It would be more helpful to receive that information the day before. Perhaps it is sent on the day of for protection of someone arriving early etc..??? If so, then alert us to look for an email the day of arrival. When we arrived and finally got into the building it would have been nice to have an idea of where to look for the keys if we are not to be greeted by anyone. When we were ultimately ‘greeted’ and we asked a question about WiFi or whatever, we were told, in not the most friendly way, that all such information was in the black box/book. Again, if the idea is for us to fend for ourselves then send some info about that…‘upon arrival please look for the black book which will help answer any questions you may have.’ There is no need to snap at someone who is tired from travel and asking a basic question. A bit of oil on the hinges would help! The ‘Drawing Room’ might be a bit more enjoyable if there was some background music or something to make it a more appealing place to relax and possibly meet others visiting the area. It was a bit uninviting… It seemed like there must be an interesting history to the place..perhaps make that available👍. A luggage rack would be helpful. Truth is, I did finally find it…the day we left, tucked behind a huge mirror which was behind a big rack on which to hang clothes. It would be nice to have a shelf or stand in the shower on which to put the soap, shampoo and conditioner containers The towel rack heat element did not work Offer a do not disturb sign for those who want just that The outdoor furniture was nice but there was nothing to look at when sitting there other than a rather weedy flower bed (sans many flowers) and a big wall. Such potential, it just missed the mark a bit. The place can still be ‘chill’ even with a bit of engaging and friendliness.

Couldn't fault a thing to be honest. The arrival process was a breeze with clear instructions to follow. The property is lovely and the location is absolutely perfect! We also had breakfast in The Croft Restaurant and it was lovely.

Location was excellent. We loved the house and the room. It was like an oasis in the middle of a busy town.

Not having AC was a bummer when the temps got high. The lawn is such a great space. A little attention to the chairs and cushions would make it even better.

Lovely stylish garden apartment right in the centre of Bourton-On-The-Water so 2mins walk from everything but with a walled garden so nice & private. Great quality finish to the decor, really good appliances and very friendly family who own it and the Croft restauran.
