The Village

Excellent location in very quiet and peaceful area. It was only a few minutes drive to Universal Studios. The host was very pleasant and helpful. The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Host Avi is very helpful and communicative. Great location and neighborhood. Nice backyard, though we didnt get to use it as we were busy!

Close to Hollywood and Beaches. Easy to get in and out. Large driveway and comfortable beds. Nice back yard. Owner provided all necessities.

Older place. Big enough for a couple.

The location was excellent, close to all the things we were scheduled to do. There were two bedrooms with generally comfortable beds. It was quiet and safe, the the backyard was comfortable, open, and accessible. Unfortunately, we did not realize until the moment we got there it was going to be difficult, so we had no choice but to stay. I also had to leave my mobility cart outside in the walkway since there was no way to bring it inside.

When we arrived I was disappointed and a little upset as I thought I had asked for locations that are handicapped-accessible. I thought there would be comfortable seating spaces, a couch or upholstered chairs. When I asked our host about it, he asked if we had seen the pictures in the ad. I had definately checked out all the pictures and this was not the place I had looked at. Unfortunately, we did not realize until the moment we got there it was going to be difficult for me, we had no choice but to stay. I also had to leave my mobility cart outside since there was no way to bring it in. When I got home I looked at the ad again and realized my misconception and where it came from. The ad was mostly accurate. Where I got confused was the fact that there are 3 accomodations in one home. I thought he was describing 3 different configurations of one house, but, like a hotel they would all be similar with similar components. But that was not true. When I looked at all the pictures originally, I assumed each layout would be similar as a part of the whole. I saw a doorway with an easily accessible door, I saw an easy-to-use bathroom and a couch! Unfortunately, these were not included in the rooms we reserved based on having 4 adults. These pics gave me the impression that all the accommodations would be similar. Having been there now, I see how I had that impression. It was not the Host's fault, just the fact he was describing 3 completely different sets of accomodations in a private home, 1 bathroom was not the same as the others nor was the furniture, my bad. Unfortunately, I picked the rooms with the entrance w/2 very large steps on a lumpy concrete pad and the slippery deep tub. Overall, I wouldn't discourage anyone from staying with Avi at the Village. Had I not been handicapped, it would have been great, lovely and comfortable. Avi is a good host, very friendly and the location is excellent!

Everything was bad there was a raccoons in the backyard

I appreciated the quality and supply of towels for the bathroom

There was some instant coffee and a few tea bags available in the cupboard . However instructions and supplies to make coffee in the Kuerig maker would make the first morning easier.

I wasted my money. After seeing the quality being offered, I had to go and stay in another property. Run, don't stay!

The property was dirty, smelly, and unsafe for a family with small kids, and management didn't want to acknowledge its dirtiness. Stay away!

Everything was neat and clean we had very pleasant stay at The Village and the host is an awesome person 10 out of 10 for Everything
