Mr Tadashi Odagaki and the two lovely ladies who welcomed us were really nice and super accommodating. I like that the room has a kitchen. We were able to cook simple meals and was able to cook for New Year’s Eve. It is a nice break from typical hotels. It is in a safe neighborhood. 😊

It is a bit farther from train station than what I anticipated. Or maybe because it is winter time and that cold feeling when walking outside for 15 minutes adds to that feeling that it seems far.

"Great Japanese guest house in a chill neighborhood"

We traveled around Japan for a month, and this was one of the best places we stayed. It’s in a great location for exploring Arashiyama. The room was clean and cozy with comfortable futons. The host was so kind and even left coffee and snacks as a gift. Highly recommend!
