Guesthouse Nobi

Guesthouse Nobi is a great place to stay in Kyoto. It is within walking distance of the train station and several bus stops, and has good kitchen facilities for cooking meals. After staying in small hotel rooms earlier in our trip, our friends group appreciated having multiple bedrooms and extra space at Guesthouse Nobi. The host was very responsive and helpful.

While we the kitchen area has two tables and tatami mats, there was no living room or sofa for relaxing in at the end of the day.

The host was very friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than expected and he allowed us to leave our luggage in the room before we returned to check in after he was done with the cleaning. He recommended places for food and sight seeing too. There were ample space for our family of 5 to put and open our luggage. There were 5 rooms (though we used only 3), 2 bathroom and 2 shower. Everyone was happy since we don't have to fight for space or use of washrooms. There were 2 washing machines free for use too.

It was winter period but only the rooms have heating so it's cooler when you walked along the corridor from rooms to rooms or to the first floor. No issue if you don't mind the coldness.

La casa era muy amplia y tradicional, con muchas comodidades. Muy bien ubicada.

Very Spacious for the price, enough space for 5+ people to comfortably stay. Place was very well maintained and clean. 2 separate showers makes it convenient for multiple people to stay.

It's a bit of a ways away from the station, like a 15 min walk.

대가족 여섯명이 지내기에 침대가 넉넉하고 화장실도 두개이고 샤워실도 두개여서 편했습니다. 세면대는 세개나 되어서 동시에 양치하기 좋았습니다. 일본 주택을 경험할 수 있는 좋은 시간이었습니다.

전체적으로 조명이 좀 어두웠던 것은 아쉽습니다.
