"Best homestay in Omachi"

Lovely couple who ran the place that was more of a homestay. The owner recommended great places for touring on my motorcycle and treated me like one of their own. Their meals are a must try and they really go out of their own way to make you feel at home. Truly the epitome of omotenashi. The location is rather out of the way so I would definitely recommend a personal vehicle. Would definitely return here again if I could!

This accommodation was perfect for us to just have a room for a night. The beds were comfortable and with two rooms we had lots of space. The owners were accommodating and friendly. They also prepared a delicious continental brekkie.

"Comfortable rustic retreat in the mountain valley"

Hosts were very friendly and adapted to our preferences. Beds were very snug and comfortable, as was the kotatsu to keep us warm.

It’s a little removed from the main road, so having a car (rented or otherwise) is essential if you’re planning on winter sports.

I really recommend the dinner - it is prepared with love and skill, and it is local, homemade and authentic. Also the hosts are just the nicest people :)
