Drangar Country Guesthouse

The place is stunning with wonderful nature all around. The breakfast was very good and we had a warm and nice welcome with great recommandations for our journey. We highly recommend Drangar Country Guesthouse.

Our stay at Drangar Country House was excellent! The property is beautiful, the staff was welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious.

Perfect. Everything about the property is so well thought out and the attention to detail admirable. Hosts are emotionally invested in their property and their care for it shows. Wonderful advice and local knowledge that aided us in our trip. This place is a must.

Leana and her husband are super friendly. The guesthouse was adapted from a farm, and the remodeling project is very successful. The interior design and decoration is really stylish and the room is cozy and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great with great variety too. The tomatoes and cucumbers were the freshest we had during our entire trip in Iceland!

Leana and Knútur are amazing hosts and want nothing more than for you to have a wonderful stay and to enjoy your time in Iceland. They take the time to give the guests a tour of their accommodations and give you tips about things to do during your time there. The location is extremely beautiful, you have cliffs, mountains, ocean. It is remote, but the roads were in great condition and are consistent with what you see in a lot of Iceland. The breakfast was filled with home-made goodies including a delicious bread/cake/jams made by their family. The nearby fishing town (38 km) is charming and has food trucks and restaurants.

That I couldn't stay longer, the property and hosts are exceptional in every way.

1. Amazing ,friendly family hosts. The best place we stayed in 10 day trip of ring road. Great home made breakfast. Great common sharing ,cooking ,gathering area. very beautiful decor in entire property including rooms. big size rooms. beautiful location. Wished we stayed more than 1 night. Would stongly reccomed a stay here. Lynne and her husband were excellent hosts. would definataly stay more days here on another trip.

No Dinner facilities. Although must say they did keep and offered frozen pizzas.

Exceptionally lovely hosts who were super helpful when deciding what to see in the area, they really go above and beyond. Beautifully refurbished old farmhouse with the most spectacular views. Rooms very modern and clean we even had a little kitchen in each room additionally to the beautiful common kitchen/lounge

Only reachable by a long gravel road
