"Drangar was everything I hoped for and more!"

Drangar is the perfect mix of wild and comfy!! The landscape is intense, but the guesthouse is warm hug! Every detail was thought of, from the common areas to the lovely rooms. Plus, the homemade jams and breakfast cake made my mornings. Leana and Knútur are so kind and friendly, and their pride in their guesthouse really shows. I especially loved their guidance on what to see, and the amazing restaurant recommendations in the area.

"Our favorite stay of our trip!"

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at Drangar in early September. The property is gorgeous and well-designed. We loved its remote location, with the peace and views it had to offer. Leana and Knútur were wonderful hosts, greeting us upon arrival and providing a wonderful breakfast and countless recommendations for our adventures around Snæfellsnes and western Iceland. We cannot recommend Drangar enough, and are looking forward to returning!

"Amazing views and experience"

Breakfast was fantastic. Our host were friendly and answered all our question including giving a history of the place and renovation. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. Best stay of our ring road trip in Iceland.

Breakfast was amazing! A great icelandic spread and plenty of coffee/tea options for those who like them. The hosts provided lively conversation about a variety of topics, and we were able to get on our way in plenty of time.

Everything! We have never stayed anywhere that matched the Drangar house, the rooms were a wonderful surprise. The views were incredible. The owners went out of their way to make everything perfect.

The views, the nature's spectacle, the surrounding calm and the feeling of being at home ... Leana and Knútur are truly amazing hosts and it is definitely worth booking a longer stay in their remarkable house than just for 1 night! I hope next time we will <3
