Tout! Le lieu est magnifique et isolé juste ce qu’il faut pour profiter au mieux du charme offert par la nature. Les bâtiments ont conservé le cachet de l’ancienne ferme islandaise alors que la rénovation effectuée apporte une touche de design et de modernité à des chambres spacieuses et confortables. Ici tout a été pensé pour que les voyageurs profitent de la nature. L'accueil a été extraordinaire et les hôtes accordent une attention particulière à leurs convives : Pas avares en anecdotes, histoires ou conseils sur les meilleurs spots à visiter. There‘s nothing not to love. The hosts are fantastic - super welcoming and warm and more than happy to give their best advice on the surroundings. The buildings on site are spectacular in preserving history but adding every amenity one might need. Great breakfast - super comfy beds (we slept like babies) but nothing beats the location - just wow. We caught a terrific sunset that we‘ll remember forever and will definitely be recommending this place to anyone visiting Iceland! I‘d definitely recommend staying two nights (or more)

Absolutely stunning, quiet and peaceful, with loads of history and stories to learn about. A beautiful blend of rugged history and contemporary architecture. The owners are incredibly kind and passionate with a wealth of knowledge and recommendations.

Supernette Eigentümer, die einen wunderbar betreuen, Tipps geben. Alles sehr persönlich. Die Lage des Hotels ist fantastisch. Sehr einsam gelegen. Direkt am Meer. Tolle Ausblicke aus dem Frühstücksraum, bzw den Aufenthaltsräumen und aus vielen Zimmern. Ungewöhnliches Design des Hotels und der Zimmer, echt mal was anderes! Alles SEHR sauber, sehr gute sanitäre Anlage (große Dusche). Haben uns sauwohl gefühlt dort!

Das Hotel ist nur über eine Schotterpiste (relativ guter Zustand) zu erreichen, ca 30 km zu fahren bis zum nächsten Ort. Aber war für uns persönlich kein Problem. Wurde aber bereits in der Beschreibung des Hotels darauf hin gewiesen.

This was best experience in Iceland first of all from hospitality point of view as well as history of the place, which hosts are proud to share. This has beecome an example of how heart, love to your country, strive for perfection can transform an old farm into super modern fascility reminding you of the history of the place. Not mentioning super views on fjord and complete tranquility and quietness of the place. The highlights: - welcome - story of the place, how the renovation happenned, introduction to the concept - all that makes you much better humanly connected compared to very convenient but very 'automatic' keys pick up via safe - design and concept - made by some famous local buroe there is a clear thinking behind. We were staying in what used to be garage and each room was named after a tracktor keeping the colors, i.e. John Deere will be green room, etc. - attention to details - great common area, living room, nice messages here and there, pizza to buy should you don't want to move etc. - great location - which with all honesty get us scared as you need to get to gravel road and drive couple of kilometers in the middle of nowhere, being rewarded by the view to die for - spotless.... just spotless:) - homemade specialties - caked and jam from the family, some other local food - advise on sight-seing highlights of Snæfellsnes Highly recommend!

Bit more generous breakfast would help my husband to feel bit happier:)

Really exceptional place. The architecture of the restoration they did was fantastic, both beautiful and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was excellent, the common areas were clean and well-designed. And the couple running the place was so nice. The location was beautiful as well. Really one of the best places we stayed in Iceland.

Nice rooms and good breakfast. Host were very helpful and provided good tips.
