Property Notes

The Volcano Huts Thorsmork is in a remote location, only accessible by hiking or special busses during 1 May to 30 September. During winter from 1 October to 30 April, transportation by super jeep is required and guests can be picked up from Seljalandsfoss waterfall or Reykjavik. There is a car park at the Seljalandsfoss pick-up point. After booking, please contact the property via e-mail for directions and additional arrival details. Although all rates are quoted in EUR, please note that charges will be made in ISK according to the exchange rate on the day that the charge is made. Bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels are not included. You can rent them on site or bring your own. Please note that the former items are included when booking a room package.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

Zeer prettige sfeer in de berghut. Vriendelijk personeel dat heel deskundig informatie geeft over de route en ook nog wandelstokken uitleent. Waar vind je dat? De rit erheen gaat via een aparte busmaatschappij south east adventure en dat is een lange rit via een prachtige riviervallei/delta. De prijs is pittig maar het geld waard. Een prachtige rit met een fourwheeldrive bus. Een avontuur op zich. Prettige maatschappij, goede chauffeurs.
