Volcano Huts Þórsmörk

Emplacement idéal pour les départs en randonnée autour. Site agréable et tranquille, les tentes sont très sympathiques ! Le petit déjeuner buffet est bien fourni et bon 👌🏼

Le bassin et le sauna n'étaient pas fonctionnels, bien dommage ! Les lits sont extrêmement moelleux, voir trop mou pour les dos sensibles. Comme partout en Islande, tout est assez cher... La petite bière après la randonnée n'est pas donnée 😅

Enormt hyggelig stemning. Godt personale og god mad/buffet. Flotte omgivelser.

Saunaen var lille, og der var mange mennesker om den. Badesøen/naturlig kilde var ikke varm men ok i kombi med sauna. Hotelværelserne var små og der var meget lydt.

Very remote, awesome hikes, great people and staff. Please be aware you have to book separate transportation here as it is not accessible by any vehicle that you can normally rent

The only way to reach this place is by bus, which costs almost USD 150 per person, and there’s also an additional charge of USD 30 per person for bed sheets and towels. It would have been helpful if this information had been made clearer before booking.

The room was clean and warm, we got fresh bedding and towels which was amazing. There was toilet in the building. Kitchen was okey to prepare the meal - there was kettle and stove. Owners were lovely and they serve food there. Also we had electricity in our room which we did not expect so it was amazing. Location is an excellent starting point for Porsmork.

the showers are completely outside with super cold water (we knew about it before booking) but it’s a shelter so it’s a small minus
