Property Notes

The Volcano Huts Thorsmork is in a remote location, only accessible by hiking or special busses during 1 May to 30 September. During winter from 1 October to 30 April, transportation by super jeep is required and guests can be picked up from Seljalandsfoss waterfall or Reykjavik. There is a car park at the Seljalandsfoss pick-up point. After booking, please contact the property via e-mail for directions and additional arrival details. Although all rates are quoted in EUR, please note that charges will be made in ISK according to the exchange rate on the day that the charge is made. Bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels are not included. You can rent them on site or bring your own. Please note that the former items are included when booking a room package.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

Les tentes sont magnifiques, le lieux et le cadre sont exceptionnels, ça vaut le détour pour y passer 1nuit et faire de sublimes photos mais pensez bien à réserver le bus pour l’accès.

Les sanitaires sont très spartiates ne pas s’attendre à avoir un lieu chauffé ou même tempéré douche à la température extérieure mais ça a également son charme.

Be careful. The place is not reacheble by ordinary car or SUV. You have to use mountain bus, which is almost 4 times more expensive than accomadation itself. Probably nice starting place for hiking. NOT suitable to sleep and go with your on car.
