Beautifully appointed room.

Management needs to tell guests that one of the main routes to the entrance is inaccessible due to road work. I drove around in circles several times, trying to find the entrance. After speaking with the person on duty, they sent me several text messages with directions. Well, when it's dark and you're driving on narrow roads, you can't keep checking messages. I followed the directions they sent me but missed the turn into the property, which is not marked by a sign or even simple reflectors. After I saw that there was an unmarked turn-off, I finally reached the place. Then I was told I couldn't park up above and had to drive down to the bottom of the property. Then I had to haul my bags up a miserable amount of distance - all uphill. You need a handful of keys to get in, none of them marked. The room itself was beautiful and well-equipped. I had to text management to find the cutlery. They replied in about 1-2 hours. Castel Gandolfo has two main tourist areas, one at the top of the hill and one at the bottom where the lake is. This place is in between, so you can walk 10 minutes uphill or 10 minutes downhill to eat. Either way, you're going to spend 10 minutes trekking uphill. I've been to Castel Gandolfo several times. If you stay at the top, it's pretty easy. Staying in between is a nightmare. This hotel has no restaurant or bar, so you have to trek up or down just for a snack. Now, I am not a flabby tourist. I have walked around Matera and Abruzzo, for example. I've done the Volo dell'Angelo between Castelmezzano and Pietrapertosa. Just dragging my suitcase up to my room at this hotel was unpleasant. If you are German and travel with your hiking poles, you might not mind this. But as a 72 year old with asthma, I didn't sign up for this. There are plenty of places in the area where it's easier to access attractions.

Niesamowity klimat starej, włoskiej willi. Przepiękny widok, ogromny taras, cisza, spokój. 5 minut do pociagu, 5 minut do centrum. Niesamowici właściciele. Zdjęcia nie oddają uroku tego miejsca. Chciałabym tu wrócić

Labai malonus aptarnavimas, malonūs žmonės. Viską aprodė, priemė ir atsakė į visus klausimus, parekomendavo vietas aplink. Vieta tikrai nuostabi, gražūs vaizdai, terasoje matosi ežeras, galima su puikiu vaizdu išgerti kavą.

Kondicionierius veikė labai prastai, jis per mažas atvėsinti visą kambarį, ypač kai yra karšta diena. Pirmają naktį buvo labai karšta, vėsiau netgi buvo lauke. Kitom dienom buvo geriau, bet būtų naudinga įsigyti gerą kondicionierių.

Il fatto che sia tornata per la quinta volta qui, la dice lunga ! Simone e Francesca sono molto gentili e sempre a disposizione. La camera è accogliente e il silenzio di cui si gode contribuisce a rendere particolarmente rilassante il soggiorno. La vista del lago e la vicinanza alla stazione e al centro storico completano e motivano i miei "ritorni". 😊

Una villa bellissima. La nostra stanza, molto curata, aveva una finestra con meravigliosa vista sul lago. In più una terrazza in comune, offre la vista completa del lago. Con una breve salita si è già nella piazza principale del paese.

Niente

Posizione eccezionale a due passi dalla fermata del treno e dal centro storico. Molto apprezzata l'aria condizionata per le giornate più calde.
