The apartment has a great location in central Bihoro, just 10 minutes drive from Memanbetsu airport. Although it's a small town, there are plenty of amenities around, and driving out to Lake Saroma/Notoro on the North, Lake Kussharo/Mashu/Akan in the South, Kitami on the West was easy. We enjoyed the various restaurants nearby to the apartment as well, good value for money and authentic Japanese food. The apartment was well equipped with washing machine, stove, microwave, coffee machine etc for a convenient short-term stay.

There are a few units available in the same apartment building at level 3, there are no lifts so it will be good if this information was stated upfront as it was 2 of us ladies with big luggages. The apartment was setup for 4 pax with bunk beds, the lower bunks are quite low to be honest both of us hit our heads a few times when getting up. I think it will be good to put some protection around the bed corner and centre support frame. Some curtains around the bed will be a nice touch as the beds come with night lights which some people will like to use it but I'd prefer to sleep without the lights. The dining chairs were oversized I feel, it will be better to have a simple japanese style table on the floor or small table so it's less cluttered.

The property is small but well equipped

The noise of the washing machine and the dryer if you do the washing at night. The instruction to leave the keys into the key box need to be stated clearly, preferably with photo attached.

We arrived and did not have a key to enter. It was hard to get someone to get help. In the end they asked us to enter another room. The building looks a little scary. The rooms are on the third floor without an elevator

The apartment is located at excellent location in the Bihoro city centre closed to all the essential amenities - restaurants, cafes, supermarket, 24/7 convenient stores. It is an excellent to be a base for visiting Lakes - Akan, Kussharo, Mashu, Bihoro Pass. We were able to get a good view of cloud sea at Bihoro Pass.
