Everything is perfect!

Very friendly, helpful and generous host who facilitated a late check in for us. This studio apartment was humble but very cosy and had all the facilities needed to feel at home.

The bed linen and pillows were adequate but could be updated.

Plenty of available facilities - Guest computer, small kitchen area, as well as info about the surrounding area provided. The room was very spacious and clean. The location is also convenient.

Some facilities such as the washing machine were old and a bit difficult to use.

Mr Mori provided us with detailed instructions how to reach the place, this is very useful for us when taking a taxi from Kyoto Station. I booked this as we are family of our people and thought it is reasonably priced during this period of the year (December 29-30, 2023). Mr Mori was responsive when we checked at around 9 pm and afterwards - as there were some issues with the air conditioner. Sticky note instructions all over the apartment were useful as well. A lot of kitchen utensils available - useful for our breakfast and dinner (we are vegetarians). Thank you Mr Mori for your help and for arranging taxi for us to go to Kyoto Station on 31st December 2023 - rainy morning.

Climbing upstairs (level 2) with heavy luggage could be an issue if you don't have teenage children with you. Facilities are old but good working condition. Mattresses could be better for winter. Small but manageable for short stay. We had to clean up the lint in the cloth dryer - as clothes were moist even after 2 -3 hours of drying - when we have limited time, wasting 2 hours is not ideal. it would be good if this is maintained well. Taxi fare (booked) while we are returning to Kyoto Station on 31st Dec was additional JPY 2000 on top of the ~1500, which i felt too much. Of course, it was 31st December, not many taxis are available to this location. If not for our luggage, we would have taken public transport - nearest train station is 10- 12 minutes walk.

We love this apartment very much. But what we love the most was the courteous and kindness of the owner. He was indeed helpful with full of information about Kyoto since we checked it. Even more, he has our own language guide book ( Thai language ) for his guests and I am sure, he spent time lot of time to make it for his guests carefully. ( he has many languages guide books ). We were so impressed his supports. Thank you so so much. This apartment gave the feeling of special general Japanese life style. The room is suitable for family with 2 children but we traveled with 4 adults and facilities of the room are super convinient. There are washing machine and drying machine inside the room and seperate small kitchen which very good to enjoy eating and speaking with friends in the evening. We were so happy to stay at thid place and for sure, we will come back again once we get a chance to visit Kyoto again. Thank you very much.

Owner came to pick us up at train station. I could use laundry machine and dryer.

Just so compact for everything.

You have everything needed for a long stay. A lot of shop and restaurant around.

Steep stairs

Host very good, going extra mile for explaining every details of they house and nearby area. Providing all necessary facilities. Overall, really recommended
