Brilliant location and really friendly owners and staff. Made us feel very welcome and it was an awesome start to our holiday on the snowfields.

Not much! Communal shower and toilet facilities but everything was kept very clean and is modern

Management went above and beyond on numerous occasions to ensure that we were comfortable and happy. We particularly enjoyed breakfast, which was created from scratch each day by the proprietor. Gifted and attentive in the kitchen, she provided an abundance of options. We were presented a beautiful and filling breakfast each day with both traditional and western options. The location of the lodge was just moments away from the bus station which made for a very quick and easy transition from Tokyo using the Shinkansen. A hot springs bath was also minutes away from the property. The property includes a dry room for all outdoor gear and your items are meticulously looked after.

very nice host, super friendly, good english. Room is cozy, breakfast is delicious. All necessary facilities are included, like laundry, shower room, shampoo, tooth brush, even a very convenient drying room. the only downside is no onsen. The free public onsen is outside the Ryokan and is too hot to get in...but overall great value for money
