De host was vriendelijk, we kregen een versie koude kokosnoot bij aankomst en een klein ontbijtje bij vertrek. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is heel goed! De locatie was top, op loopafstand van restaurants en Tissa Lake

Lovely hosts, we booked the breakfast and dinner option. The breakfast was huge, and the dinner menu had many options to choose from. It was great to come back from the safari and not have to worry about going out somewhere for dinner. I read on a post recently that someone said they had no hot water. Our bathroom had two shower heads, one was just a cold shower, the other hand held shower was connected to what looked like an instantaneous hot water system and we had as much hot water as we needed. We also booked an all day safari through the accommodation, which I would rate 10 out of 10. The vehicle was comfortable, the driver/guide spotted so many animals for us, he didn't rush around like some vehicles around us, our driver even assisted another bogged vehicle while the other vehicles around us just drove past the bogged vehicle. Seeing some of the safari Jeeps that day, some were clearly unroadworthy and with cracked windows that would have limited their clients ability to see well. If you are considering a safari I would highly recommend using a reliable service with a great reputation like this one as I would definitely not have wanted to be in some of those vehicles. PS we didn't get to see a lepord, but we did see a Sloth Bear which apparently are unusual to see at Yala normally.

Heerlijk accommodatie met een host die alles doet om het verblijf perfect te maken. Welkomst kokosnoot, sunset view, flying bats view, bird spotting, perfect ontbijt, heerlijk dinner met drank voor zeer schappelijke prijzen. Natuurlijk niet de organisatie van de safari vergeten en de extra’s als curd met honing, vers fruit sap en taxi service naar ons nieuwe hotel. Perfect verblijf in Tissa!

Ligt verder van centrum maar is met zo’n goede host geen enkel probleem

Los dueños son una familia muy encantadora,acogedora y muy amable. Nos ayudaron muchísimo. Nos ofrecieron siempre comida, bebida y mucha atención. Te ofrecen los servicios de turismo y el safari.

No hay agua caliente pero no es necesaria, la temperatura es ideal. La cama era un poco dura.

Petite noix de coco fraîche à l'arrivée très rafraîchissante. Organisation du Safari avec un guide exceptionnellement gentil et professionnel. Thé ou café avec quelques bananes à 04h30 du matin avant de partir au Safari puis petit déjeuner à emporter donné directement au guide pour qu'il nous serve le petit déjeuner durant le Safari. Emplacement du logement très bon, à proximité immédiate des arbres où dorment les chauves souris et s'envolent par milliers lorsque le soleil se couche. L'hôte de la maison est exceptionnel, adorable et serviable à un point inimaginable. Lors de notre arrivée en bus à proximité de la Guest House, le frère de l'hôte est venu nous chercher en tuktuk, nous a fait faire un détour avec des jumelles afin d'observer des oiseaux et même un crocodile à quelques mètres de nous !! Nous avons pris le repas chez eux, tout était très très bon, que ce soit du kottu au dessert. Et pas cher. Ils nous ont déposés à deux reprises en tuktuk sans rien nous demandés (bien entendu nous avons laissés un billet car d'une extrême gentillesse...) à la station de bus pour partir et au temple afin de visiter la ville de Tissa. Rapport qualité prix imbattable sur l'entièreté de notre séjour.

The breakfast was generous, and the guesthouse owner was very friendly.

The room had an overpowering musty smell, and I felt like my lungs were filled with mold the entire time. Combined with my severe cold, I couldn't stop coughing. I really hope the guesthouse owner takes hygiene more seriously... There is no water heater, so it gets very cold after showering.
