Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala

Nice room located on the second floor. Comfortable bed in a good sized room. The included Sri Lankan breakfasts were excellent. We also ate dinner at the guest house which was excellent. We arranged our safari through the guesrhouse for a very good rate, and had a great safari experience in Yala National Park. The included breakfast for our 6 hour safari was also very good.

De eigenaren waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Je kon alles vragen en ze dachten overal over mee. Ze haalde ons zelfs op van en brachten ons naar de bushalte!

Er was niet heel veel te doen in de omgeving. Alleen Yala nationaal park, dus 1 nacht is echt genoeg!

Fantastic host and lovely family. Nothing was too much trouble. He collected us from the bus stop free of charge when we arrived, organised an excellent Yala safari with a very good guide, organised a very reasonably priced tuktuk when we want to visit a particular temple and fed us really well, with lots of variations both at dinner and at breakfast. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Sehr schönes, großes uns sehr sauberes Zimmer. Wurden mit Kokosnußdrink empfangen, am Abend gab es kostenlosen selbstgemachten Papayasaft. Chef hat uns feüh morgens vor der Safari Kaffee, Tee und Bananen serviert, obwohl wir kein Frühstück gebucht hatten. Tolle Unterkunft, alle sehr freundlich, gerne wieder.

Wurden sehr herzlich mit einer leckeren Kokosnuss empfangen, haben einen guten Preis für eine ganztägige Safari bekommen. Der Gastgeber ist herzlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Bad könnte etwas sauberer sein.

Chambre très propre. La maison est située juste au bord du lac où, le soir, des chauves-souris géantes quittent les grands arbres pour chercher leur nourriture. Les repas étaient très bons. La ville est à 1 km à pied, mais la visite est plus agréable si on loue un vélo ou un scooter. Grâce à l'hôte, qui m'a accompagné avec sa voiture, j'ai visité de nombreux temples. Tissa est un village unique, avec de grandes rizières et une vie bouddhiste très forte. Les touristes devraient venir plus nombreux ! Very clean room. The house is located right on the lake where, in the evening, giant bats leave the big trees to look for food. The meals were very good. The city is 1 km away on foot, but the visit is more pleasant if you rent a bike or scooter. Thanks to the host, who accompanied me with his car, I visited many temples. Tissa is a unique village, with large rice fields and a very strong Buddhist life. More tourists should come!

The place is nice the all family take care . The owner was very friendly he come to pick us in bus station than all guests he bring to make a small tour around the lake that was very beautiful. We had a good stay to this home .

We bought the safari from him but I don’t know was it worth it as half day to expensive for that very short tour.
