Kong is the highlight of this place, he took us on a tour to see the plain of jars and the secret war museum, he speaks very good English and explains everything very well. The guesthouse is well located in relation to restaurants and the town. The rooms have everything they need: a fan, a working hot water shower, toiletries and extra blankets for the bed. We arrived at 1am after a long bus journey and we were still able to get into the room. The social area is very nice for relaxing with a beer and tea and coffee is provided. Thank you very much for an amazing stay.

Bett und Kissen waren sehr hart. Die Zimmer bräuchten mal wieder ein wenig Restauration. Vorallem das Badezimmer war nicht sehr sauber und sollte renoviert werden. Die Türe liess sich nicht richtig schliessen und hatte ein Loch

Bien placé dans la ville, près d'une rue commerçante avec des restaurants, glaciers, supérettes. Le gérant et sa famille sont à l'écoute si vous avez des questions. Bon rapport qualité-prix.

Friendly hosts - Kong and his family were incredibly welcoming, helpful, trusting, considerate and fair. Excellent location in a very peaceful and quiet part of town, yet close to many services. Good restaurants and shops were just a few blocks away. The entire property was clean and beautifully landscaped. Motorbikes and scooters were available for rent. The Bungalow: * Our bungalow (#1) was spotlessly clean and bright with two windows - each window had curtains * Ceiling fan and exhaust fan in the room * Magnetic mesh bug screen at the door if you wanted to keep it open - it worked great and we thought it was a very nice touch! * Fast and stable wi fi with a strong signal which reached our bungalow * Table with two chairs, plus a corner shelf * Comfortable bed and pillows with very clean and fresh sheets, duvet, one bedside table and extra blanket if needed * Two wall-mounted lights, each with dimmer switches - this was another lovely touch! Also, florescent ceiling lights if you really needed to brighten the room * Plenty of electrical outlets conveniently located * Coat tree, plus plenty of hangers * The hottest shower (which you can easily temper) we've ever had, on any continent, available 24/7! * Bright bathroom with exhaust fan * Clean and fresh cotton bath towels Of Note: I was a bit concerned the nightly community gatherings at the "bombfire" would be too noisy for me, meaning I would be kept awake at night by the social gatherings - it wasn't a bother at all during our stay. In fact, we enjoyed the fire ourselves on a few nights and appreciated meeting other guests. The communal area with tables, chairs and the nightly "bombfire" seemed to be placed a good distance from the bungalows and rooms, and the social gatherings were small, quiet and considerate of other guests during our entire stay.

A very minor complaint: I know many showers in SEA tend to soak bathroom floors, but it seemed the floor in our bathroom was quite level and water pooled-up more than usual. I think the bathroom floor in Bungalow #1 would benefit from a squeegee (rubber blade) to help push the water to the drain.
