Sigiri Aliya Tree house

Very kind family. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel owner did everything for us: picked us up from town, when we were eating. Did a Jeep Safari for us. Organized taxi and tuk tuks to sigiriya rock.

In nature. It was rustic, green, stunning.

There was no electricity from 9am to 5pm which meant that we had to check in after 5 otherwise there would be no showers. However I also get why this was the case and if it’s for the environment then it’s worth it. I have a low score on facilities as the main facility was nature itself.

Je kijkt uit op rijstvelden waar je heel wat grote vogels kunt spotten. Prachtige, rustige omgeving. De hutten zelf waren ook heel mooi en goed uitgerust. Wij vreesden voor veel ongedierte, maar dit was niet het geval. Super verblijf! Wij bleven maar één nacht maar hadden gerust nog een nacht willen blijven.

Ons verblijf was echt fenomenaal, alles klopte. Het verblijf is middenin de jungle, voor ons een unieke ervaring tot nu toe. De familie was echt ontzettend lief en hielp met alles. We hebben ook een safari via hun gedaan en eindelijk de gewilde olifanten gezien. Daarnaast deden we kookles samen met twee anderen, dat was super gezellig samen met de gastvrouw. Het eten smaakte verrukkelijk!

Super ,nous avons tout aimé, l endroit exceptionnel, les propriétaires d une gentillesse, s occupe de nous très bien de très jolie attention , une famille vraiment attachante. Le monsieur nous a emmené visiter un peu partout , et vraiment pas chère le séjour. Une très bonne literie. Je recommande fortement cet endroit magique.

Very pretty huts, with everything they need. Ours had an amazing view on the rice fields too. The host was very friendly and hospitable. I ordered a gluten free breakfast, there was some miscommunication about that at first, but eventually they brought me a delicious rice and curry!

Good to know that bit away from the busy main street and you shouldn't walk home in the dark, bc you'll risk meeting an elephant. (Sounds amazing, is dangerous) But tuktuks are easily arranged and cheap.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Im Baumhaus schlafen war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr empfehlenswert.
