Sigiri Aliya Tree house

The place was located in nature, but only a short tuktuk ride away from the town. It was very calm and relaxing to be surrounded by nature. The family was very friendly and welcoming and supported us with the organization of our trips in the area, including driving us to the locations and giving us advice of what to do/see in the area. The hospitality was out of this world. The food was excellent, fresh and home-cooked everyday. Thank you for the great time!

The wifi was quite slow sometimes, but given the location in the middle of nature we didn’t miss it :)

Essere immersi nella natura

Le blatte in camera, le rane su dal cesso e che per due cene per due persone abbiamo speso quanto dormire per 2 notti, un po eccessivo a parer mio

Casa davvero particolare, immersa nella natura e lontana dal caos, ideale per chi cerca tranquillità e un’esperienza autentica. Il soggiorno è stato unico, reso ancora più speciale dall’accoglienza di una famiglia eccezionale. Gli host sono stati super gentili: ci hanno preparato una colazione tipica deliziosa, organizzato gli spostamenti e sono stati sempre disponibili e premurosi. A poca distanza dalla strada centrale di Sigirya. Un luogo che lascia il segno, consigliato a chi cerca qualcosa di diverso dal solito.

Di notte abbiamo dormito con la finestra aperta e ci siamo immersi nei suoni della natura: un'esperienza suggestiva, ma forse non adatta a chi ha paura di animali come scoiattoli, rane o insetti.

Chandani ci ha accolto a braccia aperte. Tutti gentilissimi ; esperienza unica Camera totalmente immersa in un giardino botanico a ridosso delle risaie Di notte si possono sentire tutti i rumori della natura. Esperienza emozionante! There was big cucarachas in our room.

La casa sull’albero è fantastica! Mentre dormi puoi sentire i rumori della natura. Le persone sono meravigliose e molto disponibili a soddisfare ogni tua richiesta…. passaggi in auto, safari guidati, pranzi e cene, ecc. Si mangia molto bene, tutti i prodotti sono locali, fanno dei succhi di frutta eccezionali!

Staying in a tree house did not disappoint. The houses are very basic, but contain what is needed. It is wonderful being able to sit on your own private balcony and enjoy nature so close. The owners are exceptionally warm and friendly people. They helped arrange a tuktuk to go to Sigiriya center, a very nice jeep safari, and a driver for us to go to our next location. Breakfast and dinner were freshly cooked and enjoyable. They also organize cooking classes, which we didn’t do because of time, but I have little doubt that this would have been great. We had a nice stay, this place is very good value for your money.

We hebben twee superleuke dagen gehad! Het personeel is enorm gastvrij en vriendelijk. We kregen twee keer een heerlijk ontbijt, elke ochtend weer iets anders. Ze hebben ook meegedacht over de jeepsafari en dit helemaal voor ons geregeld. En niet te vergeten: de fantastische ervaring van slapen in je eigen boomhut. Wij zijn ontzettend enthousiast!

Magical place surrounded by stunning and vibrant nature. Chandani and her family are amazing hosts who made us feel home right away. We feel very grateful that we stayed there, special thanks for the quality of cooking and the fresh made juices, nothing is better than homemade food 😊.
