Lovely downstairs room with a little garden and chairs outside. Felt clean and had a mosquito net and fan. Owners were wonderful and really kind, made a beautiful full Sri Lankan breakfast for us in the morning for $5 each. Very affordable place.

Is a little further from main Unawatuna area but not really an issue and is close to a nice beach

Nice room, nice yard

Very loud and noisy, we had problems with sleeping. One morning at shady edge we had breakfast with the host standing next to us the whole time. This made us feel uncomfortable as he was very talkative. The breakfast was pricy (Rs. 1500 each) but big.

The space is a little small so can be difficult to open bag. Du ring the hot nights/days it can get a little annoying as there is only a fan and you need to leave the door open to allow for air circulation but then this means bugs can get in.

An experience for those that are looking for something authentic, loved the family they were brilliant hosts. They provided a generous breakfast for you if you request it, the bed was comfortable with a fan that kept us cool. Upon check-out they drove us next to our next destination at a good price! The kind of experience that makes you feel like you've come to Sri Lanka rather than just go to an all-inclusive resort in another hot country.

Great hosts, attentive to any request. There is a fan above the bed. I am satisfied with everything except the lack of hot water. Good accommodation for modest money. I recommend!

This home accomadtion contains whole downstairs. A small patio with plants, nice clean room with fan (no aircon, but fan was enough) and spacious bahtroom. Shower was better than in most places: A rain shower with proper height and separate hand shower. Place is close to the beach, so eating places are close by, same with a really small shop. For ATM, etc you have to travel to Unawatuna, but it's close by and place owner has a tuktuk.
