Clive and Chryshanthie were both very welcoming and always went out of their way to ensure I felt at home. Room was very nice and close proximity to some nice hikes and waterfalls. Highly recommend.

The place is wonderful, the room comes with all the comfort needed - but we are mostly grateful to have met the hosts, an amazing and caring couple always open to help and give great insights about places to visit or Sri Lank itself. They cook, and it simply was the best food ever had.

The owner Clive went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He upgraded our room as the room we originally booked did not have hot water. He would often make us tea or bring us bottles of water and was just an all round friendly guy. The room was clean and comfortable, I can’t fault anything.

Clive and his wife were very helpful. He even explained the history of the Sri Lanka whisky called Arrack and offered us some tasting of his private collection of old Arrack

Great spot to stay on my way down from the central highlands to the south coast. Comfortable and clean room and Clive made me feel very at home and made sure I was well fed. Right on the main road with a little supermarket nearby as well.

The place is very easy to reach by bus from Colombo. Clive was waiting for me outside the place even though it was 22:30 already and pouring. I wanted to do a hike and Clive recommended to do the waterfalls as it had been raining for days and this trail was save. I loved my hike and Clive‘s hospitality. He would drop me at the bottom of the trail and provided me with all infos. Upon return I got a huge fruit plate and juice. Since the kitchen was under constitution Clive asked me to join for dinner and took me to a friend‘s place for excellent local food. We had hoppers, curry and roti while he shared some stories. He helped me get on the bus again and checked in if I got to Ella safely. All in all I had a relaxed time and felt in best hands off the beaten path. Thank you and all the best for the future 🧡

The place is next to the main road which makes it easy to reach but can also be loud during the night. Careful with food, close to nature means ants will love the snack.
