My evening at misty mountain guest house with Clive and Chyshanthie has been my best evening in Sri Lanka, and I have stayed at many wonderful places. I am a young female from Australia travelling alone on my motorbike. Clive and Chryshanthie cared for me like family, cooked the most delicious Sri Lankan dinner I have had, shared stories of Sri Lanka, life, travel and nature with me. I learnt so much from them and it gave so much meaning to my travel. They are a beautiful couple with so much heart and a lovely home. I cannot recommend this guest house enough - I did not want to leave, it felt like home. The area generally is incredibly beautiful, 5 minutes to tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and several others, even the main road to the east of the guest house is breathtaking and worth a drive. The room is immaculately clean, comfortable and homely. It was such a privilege to stay here ♥️

The most welcoming owners I have ever had. Willing to help with anything they can. Got so much advices and help. Also very good chat on various topics. Room was clean and very nice. If you are in the area, this is the best place you can choose.

Nice clean room, the host Clive is what makes this place special, he will do everything he can to make your stay perfect, from advice on where to go to amazing Sri Lankan food and great conversation at dinner

Beautiful peaceful location. A perfect place to refresh and reset away from the busier, more touristic areas. The owners are so kind and sweet, you will truly feel at home here. Also very delicious food ! And all at a very reasonable price. If you like to hike, you can summit Wangedikanda in a 5 hour round-trip (for FREE) Cannot recommend enough. Amazing !

This place was incredible. Clive and his wife are some of the best hosts you will find in all of Sri Lanka. Incredible cooks, happy to help you with everything and anything, and amazing to chat to as well, they have a very worldly perspective on things. Nice and close to some awesome local hikes, but the owners were the real highlight, turning this into one of my favourite parts of my whole holiday. Thanks again for the amazing food and for making me feel right at home from the first minute I arrived. I'll be back!

Nothing to dislike here.
