Vibe way (Hostel & Market farm)

The owner Is very helpfull, but the homestay has a strange vibe.

There Is no market, as Said in the title. The Place was Not so Clean and had some downstownside:the kitchen was not usable, the owner looks the Door at 11 pm so you Better be back on time, the livingroom has no light tò chill in the evening. I would not go back;)

We had a wonderful stay at Vibe Way in Nuwara Eliya. From the moment we arrived, Husham was extremely helpful and welcoming. His hospitality truly made a difference to our experience. He went out of his way to assist us with everything we needed and even helped arrange guidance for exploring the area, which was very useful. The location is at the bottom of a hill, making it easily accessible while still offering a peaceful and quiet environment. It’s a comfortable base to explore Nuwara Eliya and the surrounding attractions. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bathroom was especially good — modern, neat, and equipped with all the essentials. One thing we truly appreciated was that they accommodated our early check-in without any hassle. After a long journey, this thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us. Overall, Vibe Way offers great value for the price paid. It’s affordable, comfortable, and run by genuinely caring people. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in Nuwara Eliya with warm hospitality, this is definitely worth considering. We would happily stay here again.

The road leading to the place is not paved properly which can't be blamed on them

Personnel très accueillant, qui nous a présenté dès notre arrivée tout ce qu'il était possible de faire dans les environs, et qui s'est occupé de nous trouver un tuk-tuk pour faire le tour des plantations de thé et nous emmener à la gare

Das Haus könnte echt gemütlich sein, müsste dafür aber renoviert werden. Der Gastgeber hat uns geholfen, die Zugfahrt nach Ella (z.Zt. nur teilweise fahrbar) zu organisieren. In der Gemeinschaftsküche Tee gratis und ein Kühlschrank.

Im Zimmer wenig Platz/Möbel, um Sachen auszupacken kein Licht zum Lesen im Wohnzimmer Im einen Zimmer ein total verranztes Kopfkissen in einem zerschlissenen Bezug (die anderen habe ich nicht angeschaut) Verbesserungsvorschlag: statt der Wäscheleinen einen Aufenthaltsbereich mit Sitzgelegenheit im Freien
