Clean space, good, quiet location close to Grand Hotel and the city centre. Very nice staff who will give you advice on things to do in the area. They also arranged Tuktuk for me to and from the train for a fair price

The WiFi wasn’t always working

Great central location 10mins walk from town and right behind the Grand Hotel. Backyard and outdoor area was gorgeous and very pleasant to relax in. Host gave excellent local reccomendations and assisted in arranging a local driver for a fair price.

Worst shower of my life - water pressure non existant and showerhead broken. Not the most comfortable bed and cleaning of the bathroom could be improved.

The place is well located with pleasant staff, around 10-15 min walk from the city center. The owner is very kind and helpful, he explained in details things to do here with pros/cons of everything. Additionally, the hostel has very comfy beds and everything is kept really really clean. Definitely the best maintained place I visited in the country. Moreover, the owner offers advice how to get to the place and a free pickup from the bus station

Peaceful location but still close to the city centre (about 10-15min), clean dorm and bathroom, spacious house, loved the hammock on the terrace and waking up to the sound of the birds and ray of sunlight through the next to my bed 😍 Also, Hushan was truly and honestly helpful giving me great recommendations at budget prices. He even drove me back to the bus station upon check out 🙏

Highly recommend! Beautiful calm - felt homely, nice little area to sit outside by the garden! The owner is so sound and helpful - gave a full itinerary and recommendations based on length of time we had there - recommendations were 10/10! Very helpful re transport options too and organising all for us. Rooms are comfortable. Would stay again😊

Great place! The owner takes excellent care of his hotel and pays attention to every detail. He gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants and visiting Horton Plains. He also arranged transportation for our travels around the region at great prices! When we were leaving the village, he even helped us with the bus routes, always focused on ensuring we got the best deal, even if it didn’t benefit him financially. The owner truly cares about his customers and wants them to feel comfortable, relaxed, and have a smooth holiday. I would definitely return if I visit Nuwara Eliya again!
