Great property very close to the beach in Weligama. Clean and very spacious AC rooms, very comfortable. Also the family is very nice and friendly, even showed us some turtles on the last day! Definitely recommend ๐Ÿ˜Š

"A quiet and simple homestay with the beach, restaurants and shops all within a short walk distance."

Weligama Watergate gives you a homestay feel which we very much enjoyed. Just a short walk from the beach, and you have access to a few shops and restaurants by foot. It is family run, primarily by Vasu and his mom. They give 100 percent in terms of service. Vasu is one man show. He manages the bookings but also the airport pickup and drop offs. We also were able to book him to drive us to our next location which was nice as we became very acquainted during our short stay in Weligama. He is a Weligama local so he is very knowledgable of the area and other tourist destinations in Sri Lanka as well which was very helpful for us during our trip.

The side road that this stay is on is a bit narrow so I would suggest you to hail your car/tuk tuk service on the main road.

Great service from Vasu and his family. They were so welcoming. The room itself was large and clean with a big comfortable bed. The terrace outside is great for relaxing with a complimentary cup of tea/coffee provided by Vasu.

"Nice stay with lovely Hosts"

Super friendly Host and Family. Giving good recommendations for sightseeing. I was able to Rent a Scooter for 4 days for a good Price! The Room was very big with a big bed and also fridge and water cooker available. Quite Atmosphere and close to the Beach. Would always book again!

The bathroom is big but could be fresher - but you can shower hot which is nice
