Nice and quiet location, walking distance to all kinds of places like restaurants, shops, bars, etc., good breakfast, everything was smooth, pool looked nice but didn't get to use it haha

Cold water in shower, at the time of my stay there were electricity issues before I came and the internet was quite unstable, no mosquito net

We liked our stay at Petit Guest House! Managed by very nice family. Thanks for your care. Apartment was quite clean and equipped accordingly to its description on Booking. We really appreciated quiet environment. Be careful if you are a long sleeper - there is church nearby and has very very loud ceremony lasting for hours (we only stayed on Sunday, not sure about other days).

Equipment could use a little refreshment, but nothing to be worried about.

It wasn’t at the negumbo train station. You have to get off at the station before.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

The place was a dump. The pool was dirty, the grounds were a mess. The "dining room" is an outdoor table under a canopy. There is no restaurant. The property looked nothing like the photos. Their communication was very poor not answering messages or emails. If we didn't arrive late at night, we would have left immediately and gone somewhere else. One night was enough.

Fabulous location - on a quiet lane but only a short (5-6 minutes) and traffic free walk to main street with bars/restaurants etc. Lovely peaceful garden and a small pool that was very welcome. Staff were lovely, and breakfast was very good and prepared freshly when we got up. Room was comfortable and shower was excellent! A very good place to begin or end a holiday in Sri Lanka!

Maybe an extra table or cupboard in the room - 2 bedside tables got a bit crowded with kettle and chargers and there was nowhere for a hair brush or the sun screen - but minor issue!!!
