Cosy Albert's Seaside Suites (Sliema)

There was not anything to like.

If you feel lonely, the cockroaches 🪳 will be always there for you . The whole place was just shocking. The moment we enter the apartment, a strong smell of dirt has hit us. Place was dirty and looks like they build the apartment in the block storage place. There was no signage/advertisement of the place anywhere outside (probably not to pay income taxes to council) The kitchen was dirty an unpleasant, the hallway also dirty and smelly. Shock was when we got to out room and it did not look at all like the picture. Barely any space in the room. Aircon was bad and room humid. On top of 3 nights of bad sleep and no comfort, our last night in the room was Invaded by cockroaches. We had to leave the room and spend the whole night in the streets till 8am when we left for the airport. Luckily was our last night. I stayed in 15 countries in different hotels/apartments but this experience was the worst. Have no words anymore...

We enjoyed our week-long stay at this place. It closely matched the photos and included all the amenities as listed. From a location standpoint, we felt secure in the neighborhood with nearby restaurant options. We were also able to comfortably walk throughout Sliema and St. Julian's on foot. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Communication with them was effortless and they responded promptly.

We initially found the separate bathroom a bit challenging, but we quickly adapted. Despite this, it was well-maintained and properly equipped.

The location, the room was cosy but had everything you needed. Still modern and clean and washing machine/dryer was a bonus!

The pillows were not comfortable

The room was absolutely moldy. Me and my partner started feeling sick after some time in. There was absolutely no way someone could sleep in such a moldy room and we had to leave the room and find a hotel. Because we had to find a hotel last minute, ended up having to pay a lot for a room in the only hotel with free rooms. My checking in time was 11pm and there was no support from hoster/landlord. I got the money back and the hoster/landlord apologized for the inconvenience.

Location is good, very central, near restaurants and shops.

We had the PLUM bedroom that was good except the bathroom it's not insinde the bedroom. It's a private bathroom for the PLUM bedroom but it's outside the room.
