Cosy Albert's Seaside Suites (Sliema)

Room is in a very central area next to the bars, restaurants and mini markets and about 10 minute walk from the ferry to Valetta, and some central bus stops. The rooms was fully equipped, with spacious bathroom and there is also a common kitchen and fridge.

The room had no windows, just a door to a small common shaft between the buildings. It has very humid but there is a dehumidifier provided.

The price and the location

We saw one cockroach in the bathroom. Although they have a spray to kill the cockroaches I didn’t enjoy it and besides it doesn’t have anything to do with hygiene ( so they say) I was very uncomfortable. the noise isolation between the bedrooms it’s bad therefore you can hear everything from the others rooms.

The apartment was just like in pictures. Very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent, close to the bus stations, markets, bakeries and other stuff. I am very satisfied.

I could hear people in other apartments going in their apartments, releasing water in bathrooms... Although it is generally quieter, sound insulation should be better.

The accommodation was exactly as advertised. The guide provided before my visit was clear and inclusive, making the self check-in smooth and hassle-free. Everything I needed was there. The location is perfect. I loved it!

The ground-floor window offered a direct view of the passersby on the street below, but this also meant I couldn't open it most of the time to refresh the air in the room.

Cockroaches presence was unbearable. Once reported, person responsible for the room said: "it's nature, we have to get used to presence of cockroaches and live with them peacefully". Such answer in unacceptable as I am paying for the quality and cleanliness, not having to worry if a cockroach enters my mouth when I'm asleep. I do not recommend staying at this room to anyone.

Good location, no problem during my stay. Clear instructions for everything. They followed up to make sure my stay is smooth. I like that I can contact them anytime through WhatsApp. Shared kitchen is the plus. I will stay there again.

The location is perfect. Got the bus stops and the ferry to Valletta in less than 10min walking distance. Supermarket and restaurants are all nearby. The room itself was fine. Could get unbearable with the high humidity, luckily there's a A/C in the room. The communication with Jessica was perfect. If you needed some, you could communicate trough WhatsApp.

Well why did I gave this accomedation a low score? It was all thanks to the cockroaches, they seemed to drop dead when they were in the room (or pretended to be) but it was quite some number I had to clean up ....and they kinda scared me. If werent for these insects my rating for this accomedation would've been much higher. Also the room didn't get cleaned during my stay for 6 days. For now I wouldn't recommend this accomedation if you want to avoid the cockroaches. But if that does not bother you it's on a really good location.
