Everything was perfect. The tree houses are so romantic. The place is rustic but still accomodated to satisfy all your needs The food is nice and the service was on point. A BIG thanks to Mohammad.

A unique and authentic experience of life in a Berber village in the mountains. We had a relaxing couple of nights here enjoying the breathtaking views, beautiful gardens and peace and quiet. The main house and rooms are traditionally decorated in the Berber style so very cosy, comfortable and colourful. No electricity so candlelit in the evenings which added to the charm. The excellent traditional meals (thanks to Mina) are served in the dining area at the top of the house and were great fun as all the guests ate communally.The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming and are really invested in making Douar Samra a success. Recommended.

كنا محتاجين لهده الاجواء الهادئة و الرائعة وسط اصوات الاشجار و خرير المياه... حقا كانت مثالية خصوصا للدين استنزفت طاقتهم وسط ضوضاء المدينة. حقا استمتعنا و ارتحنا و اكتر شيء رائع هو الأكل الطبيعي اللديد من صنع سيدات القرية الفاضلات الله يعطيهم الصحة! شكرآ

Le cadre de l'établissement

​Nous sommes arrivés à 21h, très fatigués, pour nous entendre dire que notre réservation n'était pas confirmée. Heureusement, elle a fini par être retrouvée après un moment d'attente. ​Le plus frustrant a été la gestion du repas : bien qu'ayant réservé en demi-pension, on nous a initialement refusé le dîner sous prétexte que le service s'arrêtait à 19h. Il a fallu insister pour obtenir ce qui nous était dû. Le petit-déjeuner était également très décevant et insuffisant (un seul msemen, une portion de pain et une omelette). Commentaire global, Un manque certain de professionnalisme et de sens de l'hospitalité.

Nous avons passé un super weekend de dépaysement tout en logeant dans de très bonnes conditions, le personnel dans son ensemble a été aux petits soins, ils sont formidables, souraints, et surtout bienveillants, sans parler des habitants aux alentours qui vous rencontrent avec des sourires et des "bienvenus"

Ce n'est pas quelque chose que nous n'avons pas apprécié, je veux juste attirer l'attention qu'il faut annoncer qu'il y'a des marches (beaucoup) à descendre et surtout à monter depuis le parking pour les personnes qui ne peuvent pas ou qui ont des enfants, poussettes, bagages et chaises roulantes, sinon pour nous c'était parfait.

Lovely food and staff

Ein Ort, wo man sofort in Kontakt mit den warmherzigen Betreibenden, den sich rührend kümmernden Angestellten und den anderen Gästen kommt. Mitten in den Bergen gelegen bieten verschiedene Terrassen und der weitläufige Garten zahlreiche Ausblicke und lauschige Plätzchen. Unser Zimmer war mehrteilig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Weil es kalt war, wurde am Abend vom Personal der offene Kamin im Zimmer eingefeuert, so dass es war und noch gemütlicher wurde.

Es ist bergig - auch die Anfahrt und zuletzt der Fussweg. Aber dafür geht man ja in den Atlas...
