Kan̆du

The agreed one was the family suit with combines two large double beds. But we had to stay in some other room at the same price without facilities available in the family suit. The two beds in the family suit can not be combined and if this was informed to us earlier definitely we could have gone for some other option.

The owner is quite friendly. Breakfast was very good, portions were larger and the room was comfy.

The bathroom could be a bit cleaner.

The hosts were very nice to us and breakfast was nice and fresh.

A few too many mosquitoes in the house, a mosquito net would have been nice

This property is unbelievable. It’s about about 5 minutes walk to the lake, which a stunning walk. It’s the perfect location as you are a perfect distance from the city without being too busy. There is plenty of food options within a short distance of the property too. The staff were so friendly, and gave us advice. The property itself was one of the nicest we stayed in while in Sri Lanka, definitely newly refurbished. Our stay in Kandu was as amazing, and we couldn’t recommend this home stay enough.

We could walk to Kandy City Centre within 20 minutes. The hosts are extremely friendly, we were able to park out tuktuk on the property and the rooms were nice and big.

An astoundingly clean and well-maintained property.

Anyone who could find a complaint about Kan̆du is not being genuine.
