Friendly staff, large rooms, excellent sitting areas

It was cold and damp even with blankets the beds felt wet. Weather is cold and rainy , a dehumidifier or hot water bottles for the bed would be nice

"Exceptional"

We had an amazing time, we were supposed to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 4 nights. The owner is very kind and helpfull, his wife is a GREAT cook and has the nicest smile (we highly recommend you have breakfast and dîner there) ! The place is comfy and peaceful, up in the highest village of Sri Lanka.

"The best hosts!"

The photos do not do this justice. The place is stunning and the views are incredible. The host was so friendly and attentive! We were welcomed with drinks and enjoyed the most delicious breakfast on the patio. The place is clean, beautiful and safe. Highly recommend!

"Wonderfull local experience!"

We stayed for two nights and were truly impressed by the exceptional hospitality and kindness of the hosts. We joined the host for a tour of the tea plantations and waterfalls, and he took us to the best spots, ensuring we had an unforgettable experience. As two women traveling alone, we especially appreciated the owner’s attentiveness to our safety, including arranging a free taxi back to the guesthouse in the evening. The room was spotless and comfortable, with plenty of blankets to keep us warm on chilly evenings. The hot shower was a wonderful bonus, making our stay even more enjoyable.

"Good"

Hospitality and the food provided amazing.

Size of the room was just 16 SQM( triple room) and it was too small. And had a cement floor, not a wooden deck.

Bandu is a great host, helped us with everything. The room was fine and his wife is an absolutely excellent cook. They made a really delicious breakfast and dinner for us.

Very kind lady, she welcomed us with tea and cake.

The house is far from town, the owner offered us free transport twice a day but this turned out to only be at 8.00 Am and before 20.00, which he did not communicate with us. So if you don’t have a Tuktuk/bike you will can be stuck either in town or at the hotel
