Ama Eco Lodge

Nuestra estancia fue excelente en todos los aspectos. El lugar está impecablemente limpio, la cama es muy cómoda y el lavabo exterior es precioso. El aire acondicionado funciona perfectamente, lo cual se agradece mucho. En la planta superior hay una nevera con bebidas gratuitas de cortesía, un detalle muy generoso. A pesar de estar rodeados de naturaleza, no hubo ni un solo insecto dentro de la habitación: las puertas y ventanas están muy bien selladas. También cuenta con una terraza con mesa. El desayuno fue delicioso y variado: los dos días nos sirvieron opciones diferentes, y todas estaban riquísimas. La amabilidad del personal fue otro punto fuerte: incluso nos llevaron gratuitamente al centro de Sigiriya en tuk‑tuk (¡solo 5 minutos!). La ubicación es ideal, muy cerca de la roca de Sigiriya. Sin duda, una experiencia altamente recomendable.

Das Homestay wir von der Familie mit ganzem Herzen geführt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und zu unserem Hochzeitstag gab es sogar eine Überraschung. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Früchte, Backwaren und lokale Speisen werden hier variiert. Die Familie erfüllt alle Wünsche ihrer Gäste und gibt gerne Tipps für Unternehmungen. Das Zimmer entspricht exakt den Fotos. Es ist sauber und sehr gemütlich. Zum Abendessen hat die Familie für uns verschiedene lokale Gerichte gekocht. Es war unglaublich lecker und vielfältig! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Danke für alles!

Alles war großartig!

Die Unterkunft und der Gastgeber selber ließen keine Wünsche offen. Die Gastfreundschaft ist unschlagbar und es wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt, von Safari bis hin zur TukTuk-Fahrt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft buchen!

Amazing bath, host was superfriendly and honest

Room is a bit dark

The host is adorable, and the breakfast was rich and super tasty. The host's mom cooked dinner for us, and it was delicious. Great place to stay with a great location to go to climb Sigiriya Rock. We strongly recommend it!

The friendliness of the host and the bathroom were the best features The host was super helpful and nothing was to much trouble for him - he organised a fantastic cookery morning for us

There could have been more lights in the bedroom as it was quite dark in the day

We loved everything about this accommodation! Banda is such a nice person. He is warm and welcoming and always wants to make sure you are comfortable/ have everything you need. He recommended different places to visit and shared with us some contacts to rent a scooter, boat tour, taxi driver, etc. The accommodation has everything you need and the bed is very comfy. The breakfast is one of the best that I had in Sri Lanka, local food and very tasty. It is also very big. I recommend 100% Banda and his apartment

Nothing, we loved everything - so sad that we had to leave!

The accommodation is the most beautiful place in Sri Lanka. Banda and his family were incredible hosts who went above and beyond to ensure the best possible stay. From fresh juices and a delightful breakfast to a fantastic dinner—cooked by Banda’s mother and served by his charming daughter—every detail was perfect. You simply have to experience it for yourself. A huge thank you to the whole family!
