The area around this place is super beautiful and quiet! We enjoyed our stay in the middle of nature a lot, Michael was very welcoming and friendly, even took us for a nice hike! He is the best cook, food is amazing!

A very nice and charming experience. Clean room, not too big, but you can sleep with an open window. No mosquitoes. Here you can get in contact with the real life of Sri Lanka. Excellent food!

+ familiar feeling with host Michael and his son + perfect cool sleep without mosquitos + pets (dog, cat) and wild animals around the house (dandulena, monkeys, birds) + very good food: fresh, local, organic, homemade + wonderful hike to the highest mountain in the range with authentic village vibes and djungel feeling

- bathroom needs a bit more cleaning - that we hadn't more time to stay :) And you, who is reading this, take the chance and go there, it's a call to experience a piece of real Sri Lanka.

The owner, Michael is an exceptionally fine host. His only motivation is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. This is our 10th year in SL and we have had few meals as skilfully prepared. Just tell him what you like to eat and he'll oblige. The countryside here is amazing and quiet although only 2.5km from the town centre. On top of all this, his prices for food and drink are exceptionally fair. Highly recommend.

This place is outstanding if you want to experience a very authentic way of living with the host. Hiking, going to the local markets and cooking together. The place and the host Michael with a huge heart. A must do if you're around!

This is the right place for people who love nature. Awesome.. in the middle of the jungle, calm, clean and friendly. The owner is very kind and helpful. We had 2 amazing days together.

That I left

Secluded oasis from frenetic Sri Lanka. Beautiful location, very peaceful with monkeys, giant squirrels and birds. Michael took us on a good jungle walk gathering green peppercorns and curry leaves for that evening's dinner. Very comfortable bed. Wonderful dinner and breakfast, far too much food and extremely good value.
