V Cabanas Yala Safari Place

A really pleasant stay in a unique and charming style. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view over the rice fields, which made the atmosphere very peaceful and relaxing. The setting feels calm and authentic, and it’s a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.

My favourite homestay! The family were SO welcoming from start to finish, cooking an amazing selection of curries, avocado juice, water, bananas etc. and they even dropped me off at the bus station. The place itself is in a great location with beautiful fields surrounding. The room was decent with a desk & mirror, mosquito net, nice shower, and the fan above the bed was sufficient so that I didn’t need to pay for AC. I would have stayed another night if I had time just for the tranquility.

Extrem gute Unterkunft, wahrscheinlich eine der besten die wir in Sri Lanka hatten, obwohl sie recht günstig war. Die Eigentümerfamilie ist super nett und der Sohn kann recht gut englisch und hat uns sogar angeboten uns zum Busbahnhof zu fahren (wir sind aber mit dem Taxi weitergefahren) und hat uns einen tollen Tipp gegeben: zwischen 18 Uhr und 18:30 gibt es in der Nähe einen Ort an dem wirklich hunderte fruit bats (Fledermäuse) schlafen und zu der Zeit aufwachen und ausschwärmen. Ein wahnsinnig tolles Erlebnis. Man findet den Ort auch auf Google Maps. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber und generell ist die Unterkunft sehr schön und liebevoll gestaltet. Bloß die Safari haben wir separat bei einem Unternehmen gebucht, weil es günstiger war, aber man hätte auch einfach eine Safari in den Yala-Nationalpark mit der Unterkunft buchen können.

Incredible. The best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are great. The location is exceptional, very close to the city but quiet in nature with a great view. The hosts are really great, so kind. It's like being at home with your family. The breakfast is very good. The rice and curry for dinner is one of the best we've eat, so don't bother looking for a restaurant, you'll eat better here. The host offers half-day and full-day safaris in Yala Park. We took the full day and we are very happy to choice this, the guide was very good and really patient to find animals. We were able to see many animals (birds, crocodiles, elephants, deer, mongoose, lizards, etc.) and even a leopard up close (10 meters) at the end of the day. If we ever come back to Sri Lanka, we'll definitely stay at this Guesthouse again. Thank you for all

Een super lief, gastvrij gezin! Wij hebben een Yala safari via hun geboekt en het was erg leuk! Het huisje is ook erg schoon en groot!
