V Cabanas Yala Safari Place

We stayed for 2 nights at V Cabanas and absolutely loved the place and the warm, welcoming family. The home has a peaceful view over the paddy fields, and beautiful jackfruit trees and a well-kept garden surround the property. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning. Every morning we were served a delicious Sri Lankan-style breakfast with hoppers, pancakes, fresh fruit, and tea – a perfect start to the day! From V Cabanas, we also arranged a safari to Yala National Park. Everything was excellently organized – the jeep was in great condition and the driver was experienced and friendly. We were lucky to see elephants, monkeys, deer, birds, and best of all – a leopard! Truly an unforgettable experience. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

Good location, a short walk away from the town, in a quiet area. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and great staff.

If you want AC, you need to pay extra for it, just bear it in mind.

The family was very nice. the rooms the most luxurious we had on our trip so far and the views very nice.

I had a great stay. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. There is a balcony to enjoy nature and reading. The internet is working well. The family is so helpful and always available. They organized the safari for me and brought me to a restaurant and the bus station. I can definitely recommend this place.

Super friendly host/staff, great view and very helpful with organizing safari and drive to Ella. Also, great breakfast! Would come back!
