Very nice house with kind who help in everything, and give advice. I recommend this house for everyone. Nice view from balcony.

Absolutely fantastic experience, a bargain for the price! Luis ( property's host ) gave us his WhatsApp number and has been super communicative & hekpful which eased our minds prior to arrival. He greeted us with a bottle of wine and local Madeiran bananas, and had bid us farewell with a sweet parting gift. Overall, we felt very much welcomed and I appreciate every single small thing Luis & his family did for us to ensure we enjoy our stay. About the property - it's a house beautifully located on a side of an upland, overseeing a beautiful valley & a view onto Calheta and Atlantic ocean. The apartment in question is located on the lower floor of the house ( albeit has completely separate entraces ), is furnished to a very good standard, has quite a lot of kitchen amenities, has a great comfy bed and a cozy terrace to let you enjoy the view. I guess the only concern that one might have is because Madeira is an island of high humidity, the property itself is quite high up and the apartment is the lower floor of the building, when we were there ( early March ) it could get a bit chilly during the nights ( nothing a sweater & blanket wouldn't fix though ). Overlal, we're super satisfied with our stay, we'd like to thank Luis & his family for their hospitality and we recommend everyone visiting Madeira that they give this fine local business a shot.

We enjoyed our stay at Amoreira House. The owner was super kind and helped us with everything. We got fresh bananas and avocados daily. The appartment is new, spacious and the kitchen well equipped. It was very clean. The bathroom has a big shower and a lot of fresh towels were available. Wonderful view over the sea with stunning sunsets. A lovely balcony. Parking is on the street. Would totally recommend it.

Luís, the host, and his family made us feel at home. They were extremely welcoming and friendly. We were received with a bottle of Madeira wine and fruits, and the small gifts kept on coming during our stay. The location of the apartment is fantastic to explore Madeira. The apartment itself is very comfortable, spacious, superbly quiet, and has all that is needed for a great stay. The view and the balcony are the cherry on top.

We really enjoyed our stay! Luis is a perfect host, very welcoming and friendly. The apartment is comfortable, well designed and has everything you need - even a full oven and variety of cooking utensils. The location is great, it's about 5 minutes to Calheta beach by car and just around the corner from a very easy, safe road into the mountains. The views from the apartment are beautiful and it's very peaceful at night with virtually no traffic noise. The parking is not as tight as some have said; the road is narrow but pretty average for Madeira and no different to other places we have stayed on the island. It was also great to stay with local people rather than one of the big, soulless hotels in town. Thank you Luis for your hospitality!

The apartment is great, very spacious and comfortable. Hosts are very kind and willing to help with anything. Taking service to the next level! Good location to go to other parts of the island and enough restaurants/bars/supermarket close by!

Parking is in the street, which is very narrow.

This was the most pleasant stay we had in almost a month on Madeira! The host Luis and his family are so welcoming, kind and helpful. The view from the unit is absolutely beautiful and it is fully equipped with everything you could need. The apartment was so clean and very well maintained. We were treated like family; it was the most personable stay I have ever had anywhere in the world. The town of Calheta is so quaint but yet has everything you could need. It is a perfect place to stay on the island to have a relaxing time yet still be close enough to everything you want to do.
