"Excellent Stay"

The guest house was peaceful and quiet - I slept so well and really appreciated the calm atmosphere, which helped me recharge. The food was delicious, and the owner was kind and helpful during my stay. It’s a lovely place to rest, especially if you're a light sleeper.

There was a bit of a misunderstanding at the start when I asked a few questions about mosquitos and cleanliness — it felt like I was being encouraged to look elsewhere, which caught me off guard. Thankfully, we were able to clear the air and everything went smoothly afterwards. I hope future conversations can feel a bit more open and welcoming from the beginning.

"Relaxing Weligama stay for great remote working and access to beach"

Chaminda and his family are super friendly, so you feel right at home. The room is large with a good desk and chair for working. Internet was always online and good for working. The property is less than a minute's walk to the beach. I loved the view of the beach from the 'chill out' area. Kitchen had everything I needed to cook, when I didn't head out to restaurants.

There isn't anything to complain about.

The owner kindly waited for me till I arrived from Arugam Bay. It was very nice and I really appreciate it. Also room nice and clean. And they have a very cute sausage dog 🫶🏻

My stay in rusara guest home was amazing. The family were super nice and friendly, but not overbearing at all. Helped with whatever I needed. Hot water for showers (wasn't needed for my stay as it was quite hot) , and a fan in the room made it all comfortable. Perfect place to relax for a few days , location right by the beach and a ten minute walk to cheap local food. Can very much recommend staying here if looking for somewhere to stay in weligama for a few nights.

"Nice stay near the beach"

The room, I had a small and cheap room (15 USD a night Feb 2025) The room was furnished with care, everything you needed was there. You can also use a common kitchen/ sitting area. The food. Is on request. I took a dinner and it was real tasty. Cleanliness, yes soo clean. The owners, if you need information or a taxi they arrange it for you.

All was ok.
