Arazo villa

The owner was so kind and welcoming. Still in walking distance to everything in Unawatuna, but remote enough to where it was quiet and felt like our own oasis! I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the stay at Arazo villa! Hasith and his mom Manori were super friendly and warm. The rooms are very well maintained and comfortable. They offered us home cooked Sri Lankan breakfast on request and the hoppers were amazing. Hasith was kind enough to drive us to the beach early in the morning in his car too. Highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Unawatuna.

Great view of the sea, welcoming hosts and quiet atmosphere. Bit of a climb but totally worth it. Would definitely come back.

The location was amazing, next to an old Buddhist Monastery, with an amazing view. One could hear chanting with the sunset. Not only that, the owner is an amazing cook. I had her prepare my dinners and had wonderful conversations with her and her adult son.

The room I stayed in had a gorgeous view of a temple, the ocean and sunset. It also had a good desk and chair with decent wifi so I could sit and work on my computer while looking out at the ocean. It's a nice quiet area away from the busy street. It is at the top of a very steep hill so be prepared to hike, but totally worth it for the view.

There was no drinking water available in the rooms, or a refill water station where I could fill my reusable bottle so I had to buy plastic water bottles from the staff. I wish there was a water refill station.

The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view from our balcony. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. A nice breakfast was provided each morning. The villa is at the top of a steep hill but tuk tuks can get you there be back!

Basic accommodation for the price and poor facilities (no soap or toilet paper) room not cleaned, towels well worn.
