"Right in the heart of things."

Right in the heart of things easily walkable to the beach and the nightlife of Soi Buakhao. Room had air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, en-suite toilet and shower, double bed and free Wi-Fi. My room had a balcony. Bar downstairs usually filled by Scandinavian men playing cards and darts. Left alone to come and go. Room cleaned on request. Building old and fittings to match but soundproofing good so sleeping is easy.

All good for the price.

I could see a small board of Scandalic Bar and Guest House, when entered, a lady took me to another hotel opposite the Scandalic, named Khawsen Beach hotel, and they provided a cheap room in their ground floor. I don't find any hotel to Scandalic Bar.

Price was cheap and location is not bad.

"You get what you pay for"

the location was pretty good being close to the bars, markets and beach. the linen was clean and towels were provided.

the facilities are in need of some TLC. the doors are paper thin and the locks are almost non existent. the shower had a heater but that didn't work.

Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Very good location. Everything is nearby, the beach, shops, places of rest. Very good.

The TV didn't work. Wi-Fi is free, but the signal is very bad, you need to find a place in your home where it is better
