Cozy bedrooms at University City in Philadelphia

Clean stay cool balcony very quiet and calm space loved this property!

No salt or pepper shakers available lol :(

The communication was timely and clear. The room was as advertised. It was a very seamless transaction. The body wash and shampoo in the shower were appreciated.

I think someone had a pet directly upstairs that was running around on the hard floor, which made noise, but it didn't really bother me. It wasn't persistent.

Excellent location for exploring University City and beyond, with multiple transit lines, groceries & fast food a short walk away. Basic but solid accommodations, with a surprisingly comfortable bed, ample storage in the closet and bathroom, and plenty of outlets. Having access to a kitchen meant I could eat healthier than I expected during my stay, taking advantage of the refrigerator to store fruits and veggies. Host was very responsive when I ran into a small issue, following up on a message sent at 8:24 on a Saturday night within 20 minutes; they also got back to me quickly before my trip when I reached out with a question. Overall, I was much more satisfied with this location than I was with the more traditional (and pricier) hotel I booked for my return trip. Great value, and would stay here again.

The long flight of stairs from the door to the landing may be a challenge if you have bulky and/or heavy luggage.

Very basic, but neat, clean and well located (for my purposes). Reasonably priced, and the host was accommodating and responsive. The lightning quick WiFi was a bonus.

Not much to dislike. The narrow, steep stairs may be problematic for some people.
