Beach House

The location is really a small paradise. Very friendly owner and willing to arrange everything you want. The local food and way of (easy) local living...

Amazing! A lovely little chalet right on the beach, quiet and peaceful. Eno was a great host, picking us up when we arrived at the jetty/dropping us off and providing breakfast every morning. Clean and comfortable, and had a mosquito net provided as well. Wonderful nature, a great beach and an idyllic atmosphere. We were there for a few days of relaxation, and it was just what we needed. Eno also helped us sort out a few day trips, both a snorkelling tour and a jungle walk.

We were staying at the chalet furtherest, causing Wi-Fi reception to be a bit weak at times, never really a problem for us though. And even managed to video call at one point. Otherwise, no negatives at all!

I liked that it was locates so close to nature and hosts were very friendly and cute as a family.

I stayed for a week in May, Eno (the owner) is very friendly and welcoming, fetched me from Genting jetty, prepares breakfast every morning and is always quick to help if you need anything. The place itself is just stunning, beautiful views from front porch and small bench & table protected by palm trees (+hammock). You'll pretty much have a private beach! Snorkeling is great there (see plenty of fish, rays and corals!) and Eno can also take you further out in his boat to explore the reef. There are options for eating out near and also a short jungle hike to the next village (Paya). Inside the beach house it's very clean and AC works well. Mosquito net is provided. Very few mosquitoes, and not a single sandfly. I didn't take a pic of the room, it is furnished with very elegant polished dark wood, queen sized bed, plenty of storage space, and the bathroom is large and stylishly tiled. Eno build it himself!

It's 15mins walk to Genting, not a problem for me but thought I'd mention it here.

Only the view

No hand soap and you have to ask for toilet paper. Breakfast i needed to wait until the owner of the place wakes up around 9am and boiled water comes in a plastic jug and everything is very, very limited, the place is dark and the conditions do not justify the asking price.

Eno was a fantastic host. He collected us from the jetty and made us breakfast each morning. Eno even organised a day tour to the forest and beach on the other side of the island. We wished we could stay for another week.

The location with our own personal beach and the beautiful chalet with such attention to details, and Eno’s fantastic help and kindness! Genting is very cozy and calm which suited us perfectly.

The location was very quiet and peaceful, we were basically alone on the beach. The owner made breakfast for us every morning and helped with any questions we had. The cabin had everything we needed, comfortable bed and everything seemed to be quite new (or really well kept). Good internet as well. It was a very relaxing stay.

I would have loved to have more comfortable seating and also beach beds. There is one hammock that is shared by two cabins.
