Beach House

Everything was perfect, the whole place was hand crafted by Eno himself giving a lovely artisnal feel. Eno and family are charming, extremely helpful, and also unobtrusive which is a very special skill.

Eno and his wife are simply amazing people. They love to show you around, but also respect your privacy. The two houses right at the beach are lovely and we felt like home there for these couple of days. You can also take a stroll to melina resort if you want a decent massage or a tour with a bigger group. Thank you Eno for this amazing time ♡

We found it hard to get food in town at dinner times.

Perfect getaway for people seeking peace and quiet. The private setting is exceptional with beachfront position and magnificent outlook. Fantastic walking trails and snorkelling opportunities and plenty of monitor lizards with which to share the island’s oversupply of mangoes. Eno and Fisa are the best possible hosts who understand the need for a healthy balance between accessibility and discretion. Their breakfasts are delicious too - especially the Roti Jala.

Our stay in beach house was perfect. Eno is a kindfull person and helped us for everything (brought us foe snorkeling trip which was wonderful, taxi boat for us) The view is so lovely, if you need calm and rest, away from all the other tourist it"s the right place. The breakfast , nothing else to say than just cery nice. Would recommend for sure.

Nothing except that it was too short and we wanted to stay longer in that small paradise

We liked the small chalet and the secluded beach - very picturesque, with Instagram worthy rocks that we climbed on; we loved watching the tides come and go; Eno is the most amazing host and his wife is a great cook, preparing nice breakfast for us. It`s a simple and peaceful place to relax with a good book and some beers. The water was super clean and warm and we loved taking long strolls on the beach. One of our spots was the hammock shack where Fiza displayed her wooden sculptures.

Unfortunately, we found out that in 18 months from now, the beach from Paya to Genting , including Eno`s place and Melina Beach will be demolished as there are plans to expand the Tioman airport . This is very unfortunate , as this island still preserves some of the wilderness , it`s not your usual crowded and over-commercialized beaches. The government will level off the entire mountain that still hosts birds and monkeys and monitor lizards and many other critters. The reef bed where small fish are still living will also be gone...I can only hope that something will change and this beautiful place will remain untouched...

This place is a little gem on Tioman Island: simple, but beautiful hut, the loveliest hosts, nice breakfasts, splendid views over the sea and a private beach. The owner also took us on a very nice private snorkelling trip. The place is located near Genting which has fewer dining options than Tekek, but still enough to choose from!
