Thangkop house Is a real home. It's clean and cozy. Dolma Is a real host, She makes you feel home with her' kindess and She can provide also good advices. Her' family Is also very nice.

Nothing. The house Is a bit fare from the main market, but in few minutes you can join It. For some people as me It can be a plus, not being in the caotico center.

My son and I had a great stay at the family-run Thangkop House. The rooms were simple and spotless. Hot water was available 24 hours a day. The host family was exceptionally friendly, attentive and helpful and made us feel at home. Laundry service and luggage storage were also provided. We stayed at this guesthouse three times during our three-week stay in Ladakh and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Leh!

The host family was incredibly warm, sweet and welcoming, and the whole place felt like home during my short stay. As a solo traveller, it was so nice to come back every day to be greeted warmly and to feel like home. The breakfast was great, the rooms were cozy and the garden in front of the house incredibly cute. The area was calm.

A minor issue: The shared bathroom often didn't have toilet paper, so I brought my own.
